Scar Eruption again

Tonight and last night. I've just been dealing with it but it seems to be getting more frequent...at least 4 - 5 times a month. It gets EXTREMELY itchy with a very tight feeling to it and blistery but no fluid in it. Been to quite a few doctors and no one knows what it is, nor are they concerned because they don't believe there is an infection. It goes away after a few hours but I can't sleep right now, it is soooo itchy. Not a big deal, I know....just venting.

Internal sutures

Several of us have had the experience of pieces of of dis-solvable internal stitches finding the way to the surface. They can be itchy and sometimes stick up a bit and snag on clothing. Next time you have an eruption take a close look. I've just used tweezers to pull them out which shortens the discomfort.

Lead Revision

This only started after a lead revision a little over a year ago. My original ICD implant was almost 4 years ago. I'll look closer at it next time it erupts Frank to check for any sutures.

AngrySparrow, I also have that, where it pokes out more, can look fresh, red or sometimes just the silver line. No fever, although sometimes, a little warmer to the touch when it erupts. I do try and move, I go to a gym for movement. I can't walk far due to a needed hip replacement. I've been putting that off but it is getting worse. It's affecting by good leg now. I'm leaning on that one too much...literally. I'll try some of your suggestions for the scar, thank you both.
