hey everyone .
how is everyone ?
me not so great, my incesion area has been hurting quite a bit lately and its hard to handle and with being 17 it can be very stressful , how long can this last , i had my pacemaker/defibulator put in may27th and still have pain in that area. It feels like a pinching pain and it will numb my arm and my fingers. Does anyone else have this probelm ? could there be something wrong ? any suggestions on what i should do ?

You should nor be having pain in your ibncision at this point i too waited a long time to find out why i was in so much pain from Sept 27 until February 4. I go my pacer moved under the muscle i had been having trouble with a nerve being pinched between my swollen arthritic shoulder and the pacer. it hurt as bad as a tooth ache but since i had never had this type of surgery before i didn't know how bad the pain should be. I found out when i had it moved thst the pain should be minimal just from the incision itself. I didn't need pain meds at all to go home on. i hope you will see a Doctor ASAP. 17 is for fun not pain.

Hi, I had mine in june and I have some scar pain here and there but its mostly gone- the swelling went down and it shows a bit more since im 26 and on the skinner side- especially since I had the pacemaker put in- my body sped up my metabolism. Talk to your doctor about it as soon as you can.

Don't worry- things will look up- just get it checked out.

let us know how it goes- keep in touch bc I found this is a great support group.

You know you're wired when...
