dislodge or irritate the site?

My site is over a year old.I was doing household jobs and it started aching. It has been about a week. Physical therapy has been uncomfortable lately. Can one dislodge the pacemaker or cause great irritation. It is implanted on my right side as the first on on left side had to be explanted. for doctor error.

I would appreciate any feedback!

Thank you!
:)

If you are doing something new, yes it's possible to irritate it. Scar tissue grows around it and insulates it, but it's still a foreign object and every once in a while our bodies get annoyed having it in there. I've done it trying new things at the gym, yard work, when we first got the Wii. It would get irritated long before it would get dislodged. Ice and a day or two of rest are all I've needed. Can you see that it has moved?

Keep an eye out for signs of infection. It would be rare to happen this long after, but it's not unheard of. Redness, swelling, oozing, streaks, fever.
