Hi everyone, hope you're all well. I'm finding it hard to believe that I've already had my little buddy (dual chamber PM) for just over a year now!. It was fitted for abheart block and I've been told It only needs to work 1% of the time.at the moment I'm sloghtly anxious that I haventfelt it for a few weeks. Should I be worried? What do you think. I have a check up coming up on 10th October and am really hoping all's well as i'm due to fly to london on the 14th!! :p thanks
Sarah. X

You know you're wired when...

I wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for pacemakers. I've had mine for 35+ years. I was fainting all of the time and had flat-lined also. I feel very blessed to live in this time of technology.

Don't complain young lady! A working PM just sitting there doing nothing is a blessing. I had one put in when my heart stopped for a few seconds and am now 60% dependent on it. Heck, I've only had it in for a couple months and hardly know it's there either. I wouldn't get worried if I were you. They can tell if there's a problem at your check up, but there rarely is after 1 year. Count your blessings and enjoy your trip.
