Hey guys I have been in the er since Saturday night! No beds up in the heart unit so I'm still in the er .. Saw doctor today he said I have pacemaker syndrome and have to go back to the or and move the leads to a different place hope it doesn't hurt! I have to be awake to let him know where it hurts .. The pain is still so bad
In the er they gave me morphine and that didn't help! I started breaking out in a rash from it anyway! Now I'm on perocet and that's hardly working :( I just went for a cat scan to make sure the leads didnt go through my heart! I knew something wasnt right and thankgod for those on here and my family for making me go to the er it's no joke! .. Well let me get back to my nice comfy hospital bed!

Sorry you had to wait till today & have been in an ER bed.
BUT.....extremely glad you went to the ER when you did. Pls keep us posted on your situation a bit more often that every three days. There was more than one of us worried.
Sounds like you are now in good hands.

Hi Stephenie,
I'm so sorry to hear about your set back, I've been following your story from day one, just before you were getting your pacemaker.
I wish you a very speedy recovery.

So I had The surgery yesterday morning! They ended up having to take both leads out and replacing the
With leads that hook into the heart rather than screw. The pacemaker is MRI okay but now the leads aren't but I don't care right now .. I was awake most of the time and had a lot of pain .. I stopped breathing again! It's from all the medication they said .. Now I'm laying here with a massive headache and can't keep anything down without vomiting hey it has to get better I don't know how much worst it can get for me? Hoping to go home tomorrow because today I'm just too sick to even moved:( thankyou again guys
Welkcome back!

Glad you made it through that ordeal.
Maybe this time it will be all downhill for a good recovery. Headache does not sound like fun.

Hi. I've been following your story & just wanted to say I'm so sorry to hear about all the problems you are having (& all the pain too!). You are in the best place!
I hope the Dr's can sort things out for you very soon & get you a bed on the cardiac unit too. I am thinking of you very much. Keep us posted if you can, I know it's tricky in hospital though. Good luck with everything!
Best wishes
Janey
