5 days with pm!

It's 5 days today I know it's not so long but the pain just isn't getting better! I called the doctor waiting for him to return my call.. I'm getting pains in my chest and my throat?? Feeling sick like a chest infections that's the best I can explain it? I don't have a clue what I should do? Anyone have this happened to them? Please sorry to bother everyone on this beautiful weekend just need help :(

...for you to go to the ER! As I read your posts & comments, this thing has gotten worse on a daily basis.

You do not know what is going on at all. All we can do is guess, & smart as we are , we are not Dr's.

This could be serious & as days go by, could become even more serious.

It's about time for you to forgo embarrassment & drag your pain-wracked bod into the ER. Especially if you have an infection. They are BAD news when they attack a new surgery that includes metal implants.

You said it all in the phrase "I'm getting pains in my chest and my throat?? Feeling sick like a chest infections..."

Do you have any fever? Doesn't matter o go to ER anyway.

I no the feelings that your feeling.I would go to a urgent care or to the hospital and have them do a chest xray they may have been a small effusion or infection.I had alot of complications with my icd everything that could go wrong did on mine.Are you having a hard time breathing? I hope you feel better its a hard and scarey thing to go through

My heart is going to fast now before pacemaker it was too slow .. They are doing tests to make sure no blood clots... Thankyou guys for convincing me to go to the er :( now I better go get Comfy in my hospital bed and get ready for the nice breakfast tomorrow ;)

I had a nightmare with my PM. Make sure they address your pain DIRECTLY. Don't let them put you off when they "don't know". That just means they need to look harder or get somebody else who knows what they're doing.

Glad you went to the ER. Sorry they had to keep you but it is best to get checked out and taken care of so you can have a speedy recovery. ;o)

Stephanie - I see that you have a msg from Janey in the UK. That lady has been through more misery for longer than you can imagine. But she takes time out to send you a note. Someday, soon, you will be just like her.

She & I have been exchanging notes for some time now.

From what I have read from you, you are just as strong & you can handle it. I am confident.

Where are you in NY? It's a BIG state. Like to know where things are so crowded that you spend three days in the ER awaiting a bed.
