Hi, had my battery changed 30/09/14 (2weeks ago). I play violin and double bass, does anyone know how long till I will be able to play again?
My PM is on my left shoulder.
Thanks
Nia

that as soon as it feels comfortable to do it. If only your PM was replaced and nothing done to the wires then it's just the incision that needs to heal.
So time to heal depends on you and how fast your body seals up that incision.

I just want to share about the quality of life after my pacemaker, and hopefully increase awareness that lifestyles do not have to be drastically modified just because we are pacemaker recipients.

You are okay for both at this point. I'm an orchestra teacher and I played in a regional symphony orchestra with 2.5 hour rehearsals 1.5 weeks after implant. I'm a viola player.
Bass is for sure okay at this point as there is no pressure on the incision and while your hand comes up to head level it really isn't lifting your arm above your head.
As always check with your doc first, mine told me have at it as soon as I was comfortable.
