Blood pressure and settings?

Just had my settings changed again. RR is off now and something else (unfortunately I don't remember what) was changed. Can PM settings influence BP? My BP is now high, and I am not sure if it is just "aging" or the changes. Part of the reason for the question is this happened before and the cardiologist sent me to my primary care physician, but when my settings were changed, the BP returned to normal. So I have reported this to my new cardiologist but haven't heard back and don't know if I should persist or go to my GP.

I'm interested to see what everyone says on this. My BP has always been low, even back when I was a child (which is great!) When I had my CRT-P put in, one of my cardiologists mentioned "don't be surprised if your BP rises up to a normal range or higher after your CRT-P/AV Node ablation". He said "this happens a lot, but we just don't know why". He also mentioned a lot of people gain weight after their PMs, again for reasons unknown.

So far, it's been one year exactly, and though my BP did rise just a bit, it's still low. As for my weight, it's still great too! But, when I read this post, it made me remember what he said. I'm curious to see how others reply.

Thanks for the posting the question. I can't wait to see what the others say.

I just want to share about the quality of life after my pacemaker, and hopefully increase awareness that lifestyles do not have to be drastically modified just because we are pacemaker recipients.
