ICD Vest

Has anyone heard of a icd life vest. I have a icd and have never heard of it before. A friend of mine also has icd, but now the drs. are talking about a life vest because he is in the hospital with a very high fever. Any thoughts?

I wore one for 3 months before I got my Defib\PM. Very uncomfortable and I hated that thing. But its an External defib. Maybe the doc meant something else, since he had a fever.

I too had to wear a Zoll Life Vest. I agree, that one it was very uncomfortable & also I bet that's what the doctor is talking about.
