No other symptoms so he wasn't worried about bp. He checked my pulse on neck and ankles at same time. He listened to my heart in different positions. I forget what else but it was all simple things in the office.

Never thought about heart, as older sister had it about 5 years ago, she has no heart problems, she does have arthitisin her hips, therefore I went to my GP. I have arthithis in my spine, a fimer mattress helps, but I also have numbness while walking, I know way so I pretty much disregard it , gets to bad I take something for the pain. Jean

Tingling

Not real numbness, but lots of pins and needles, not necessarily when I am leaning on limbs, but just seems to happen in bed also when in reclining chair. I have never mentioned this to anyone. I think it might come from back as I have osteoporosis? As I have a soft overlay on my bed maybe I will take it off so it will be firmer as that has helped some of you.
My BP has always been low, from 80/35 to 110/60.

I was getting that for a while also. I mentioned it to the cardiologist, he said it was not cardiac. I have a Sleep Number bed so I tried making it more firm, that took care of it.

Next time you're near a Sleep Number store, get them to do the thermal thingamabob on you. That will give you a number to try next time you have a reason to sleep on your mom's bed. You lie on the bed and pump it up until it feels hard, then let the number drop until it feels comfortable. They have a thermal sensor (I guess that's what it is!) that takes pictures on their computer screen. When it was hard, the spots on my hips and shoulders that hurt were bright red. As I brought the number down, they turned green. Way cool! Anyway, the number that showed me all green was not the number I thought felt best. I have back pain from a head on car accident 20 years ago. Between the chiropractor, the bed and discovering barbells, I went from chronic pain management to pain free.

How did u know it wasn't cardiac ???

My arm and legs get numb feeling lately just laying down ........

My bp has been running low 99/58 to 112/76 ... I guess that's a normal bp ???

You know you're wired when...

You have a T-shirt that reads “Wired4Sound”.
