just wondering
I had my pm/defib implanted 2 1/2 years ago but have had about twenty plus shocks since then..I know the standard is that they last 3-5 years but anyone had theirs replaced yet or have a time frame for me? I just moved to Africa from the US and am worried about the battery strength!! Thanks=)

You should ask you dr about left cardiac sympathetic denervation, if you get shocked that often, this procedure may help in reducing the frequency of your arrhythmia's...I suggest doing some research online to learn more
