my EP wants..

My EP wants every 3 months, but due to the shear cost of the visits, I asked for 6 months. He accepted until my ICD is within a year of battery replacement.
My employer slashed our medical coverage and now until you reach your deductible, you pay out of pocket for all doctors visits, copays are gone, so one full check-up = 500 bucks.

follow ups

Hi.

I live in Canada. I have my follow ups every 6 months and I do not have a home monitor. They won't be available where I live for another year and then the only people who will get them are the very sick who live far from the hospital.

Take care,
Pookie

Hi,

For me I have to alternate between seeing my doctor and doing phone check-ups. If there is a problem picked up during a phone check then I will see my doctor sooner.
Hope this helps.

Thank you for your comment; so its very expensive the check up and de follow up in U.S?

How did work whit the ensurance, or goverment? Is because I from Costa Rica and here every follow up you can choose from private or with the goverment.

regards.

My PM checks

I have a telephone checkup twice every year and a clinic checkup twice per year and they alternate so that I have a checkup of some kind at least once every 3 months. They do want to have more frequent checkups within the last year of your battery life to make sure they keep up with it and not let it run out.
