You have found a wonderful group of supportive people that's for sure.
Please let us know how you are doing after your procedure.
Again, welcome to the site and feel free to ask as many questions as you want :)
Take care,

Your new PM Club has some of the most educated, experienced people who share their experiences with 'posts/comments'. These wonderful new Friends are the nicest and bestest you could ever know.
I had my ablation/implant on 10/09 and have done great at age 65. There are Mother's of babies to more 'mature' folks who belong to your new Club
With you living in UK, I can't tell if you have had the implant or will be. Good luck on your great progress and let us hear from you soon.

Pacemaker Fitted

Double Chamber pacemaker now fitted and I am at home, arm in a sling. Looks like i've got a bullet wound to my left shoulder. The Consultant Cardiologist and nursing staff at Chorley Hospital were excellent and very supportive.

Welcome to the Pacemaker Club - you've come to the right place. Do you have any specific questions about tomorrow's procedure, that you want quickly addressed? Otherwise, do please check in afterwards, when you're feeling ready, and let us know how you're feeling.
You'll find many, many people of our age (I'm 50) who have PMs, and many younger still, so don't feel that there's no-one you can share this with! And we're very good at answering questions too: we've all asked them at some stage, ourselves, so don't feel shy about it.
Best wishes for tomorrow
