3 weekday ago my pacemaker was placed under a muscle and a week later I was having nerve shocks... A week later a rushed to the er bc I saw my device flip under my skin...
For over a week now it flips in Mr and my dr said my leads are fractured in half... So now bc I'm responsible for flipping this or they think.... He's removing my device and will no longer treat me as his patient!! I'm frustrated , scared and very unsure of what to do next.....

What an appalling dr. I also wouldn't want him to touch me. Try to get yourself to metropolitan hospital and get another doctor. If you are stuck try the American Medical Assoc and see if they can help you.
I assume you are in the US.
Just don't give up.....it was a mishap and you need a good cardio and EP.

Hi, I had my pm put in last June. Almost one year now and I noticed on yesterday that pm has moved down almost into my breast. It was just beneath my left shoulder. I still feel fine but just concerned about this movement. Will be going to doctor next week.

Do not let him operate on you. Find another dr and get another opinion.

Hi! You have to be miserable, and you certainly have a right to feel scared. Even if you are somewhat at fault or even totally at fault for what has happened, your doctor's attitude and level of care are both appauling. Please get a second opinion immediately. If I were you, I would not want this so called doc touching me again. Even though I grew up in your state (Meridian), I am not familiar with where you are located. If you can, try to get to Jackson, Meridian, Birmingham, etc. for medical advice/care and surgery, if required. Will be thinking of you and praying for you. Please do Not delay getting professional medical help for your situation. Hopeful Heart
