Possible Irritation or Inflamed Pocket

so its been over 2 yrs since I had my PM placed strictly for on demand usage of my heartbeat not staying above 30’s and 40’s...after multiple procedures to get the wires to stay in at all I have been 2 yrs without any complications till this last Sat.!  It began as a pinching sensation right behind my PM then gradually got worse. I’m to the point now I am barely sleeping even with pain med and I’m on a strict regime of ibuprofen to see of I can get the swelling down.

All the tests say everything looks good and the PM is working as it should. Heart dr said if the sharp pain does not go away in a week we will talk surgery to clean out the scar tissue and maybe even place the device under the muscle to keep this from happening again.

Anyone else been through this? Love to hear that I’m not the only one again!

I am going through this same thing and it hurts so bad. My dr told me same thing ibuprofen for week then call back everything is functioning great. I think a lot of it has to do with the way i sleep with my arm above my head. Im searching solutions to make so i cant even considering sleeping with sling to see if helps. At this point though im ready for them to just fix it put under muscle as its been 3 weeks of almost non stop pain. I really hope ur pain goes away i know how misreable it makes ya.
