battery low?

I have no idea if this is relevant, and I have a Medtronic PM which again might rule this out, but at my recent first year check-up at my Pacemaker Clinic I asked what signal my PM would give me if the battery ran very low. (I know this is not likely, and would normally be picked up at annual check-ups before this became an issue in a few years' time). He changed the settings on the PM to replicate the "end of life approaching" and told me to walk down the corridor and back (cautiously!) to see what I would feel, and it was as if my heart was noticeably heavier. It wasn't painful, or disabling, just felt heavy.

I am 100% paced following surgical complication from an Aortic Valve Replacement. Thankfully he restored the correct settings :)

it is not the battery it is a new battery just got it 2 months ago & I had the same problem with my prior pacemaker

You know you're wired when...

You can finally prove that you have a heart.

As for my pacemaker (almost 7 years old) I like to think of it in the terms of the old Timex commercial - takes a licking and keeps on ticking.
