This may sound crazy but since they changed my battery I have had pain in my left shoulder joint when lifting or moving it at times not a constant pain but enough that it bothers me anyone ever hear of this?

I have had a pacemaker for about 30 years and had a partial shoulder replacement 5 years ago. My shoulder problems started out as minor arthritis. It was not constant pain. Much like yours. It got much worse as I got older. Had nothing to do with my PM, and I don't think that yours does either.
Hey, you never know. While on the table they could have moved your arm in such a way that it hurt your shoulder.Again, I doubt it.

Probably just a little tendinitis or the early stages of arthritis.

My 12 year old daughter received her first PM 4 days ago on 10/14/15 and her number one complaint is shoulder pain, not the incision or device site. It usually hurts on the shoulder blade and up to top of trapezius muscles,same side as her PM. It has been severe pain at times. She is managing with pain relievers and I think some movement can be helpful. When this first cropped up @ 30 hours after surgery I looked around on the Internet and found some other people with similar problem. Good news is that for them it went away after a few weeks. My daughters's seems to be diminishing somewhat, too. I suspect it is an angry nerve.
