Back from 9 week check-up

I'm back from my check-up. Got an initial and final interrogation report. Got my Upper Tracking Rate raised from 130 to 150 and I didn't have to ask. Just told them that I have been hitting a wall when exercising. Dropped the voltage. And my PM did not have the Rate Response set to ON, because they said I do not need that feature.

What I wasn't expecting is that. I am now pacing 95.5% of the time so I am basically pacemaker dependent. But to make myself feel better I am treating myself to a pair of diamond hoop earrings - ( a Mother's Day gift that I am picking out myself)

Glad to hear your check up went good. What I have learned is that your dependancy on the pacemaker can change so don't judge it on just one interogation. I have had my pacemaker for over 7 years now and for 5 years my pacmaker was working 30% of the time in the upper chamber and 70% of the time in the lower chamber. Then it went to the low 90's in the lower chamber (upper chamber did not change) for 3 interogations ( I do an interogation every 6 months) and not it has gone back done into the 70's in the lower chamber. I never got an explaination why it changed becuase they did not know. Sometimes stress and worry can do weird things to your body but it's hard not to get stressed at times. I just enjoy every day I have an am grateful for them. Don't like the alternative

I felt a little guilty wanting to get diamond hoops, especially after paying off the hospital bill for the pm surgery. My husband said he was going to get them for our 20th anniversary later this year and said go ahead and get them now. It can be a combo Mother's Day and very early anniversary gift. I guess after 20 years I can treat myself a little and hopefully not feel guilty about it.

Oh and Tom, thank you for your comments, it did make me feel much better. But I still want those earrings! LOL
