left arm feeling wierd
OK, I have always thought my ICD moves some. (Had it for 2yrs) I am now having some numbness in my left arm... from armpit, down inside of arm to my thumb. I believe my ICD has tilted and hitting nerves? I also can feel scar tissue around where the wire comes out the top and turns to right? They say as long as my arm isnt swelling, I should be fine?? Anyone else have problems?

Thanks! I havent called Dr. yet. Over the weekend, I laid on my right side and babied my left arm (even kinda pushing ICD to right) I do feel better! The major pain is gone!! Still will call and go get it checked out. Glad to understand that if swells, I do NOT need to wait. Glad your better! Thanks again!

I had a blood clot to my arm once from the pacemaker damaging my blood vessels. My arm swelled up fast right before my eyes. Your problem sounds like a nerve for sure. Tell the MD. That sounds very uncomfortable. I can also feel the entire pacemaker and wires at insert also. Weird, isn't it! I have a really gross scar and the blood vessels in my arm look like an LA freeway map!
