PVCs and Static

Two years ago my atrial lead was turned off because of static and misfiring problems. I currently only need to use my ventricle lead (bradycardia). At my annual interrogation, I was told that I am getting static in my ventricle lead now, causing no response to my pacemaker, so the Rate Response Sensor was turned off. I am now pacing at 100%. Since the adjustment I find I am getting alot of PVCs.

I was given a 21 day event monitor. I When I bend over to pick something up, I notices that my hr races to 125 - 130 bpm. Feels like skipped beats.

Does anyone have any information about this? I have had the St. Jude advent dual chamber pm for only 4 years...

I had a pacemaker when I was 11. I never once thought I wasn't a 'normal kid' nor was I ever treated differently because of it. I could do everything all my friends were doing; I just happened to have a battery attached to my heart to help it work.
