genetic testing

Hi there,

Are there any genetic tests that can be done for Sick Sinus Syndrome.....I have a husband and a 5 year old daughter who both have a pacemaker and would like to know if there is any tests that can be done on my son.

I have SSS. I've always had a very low heart rate. It didn't bother me at all until 2 years ago and I'm 46. When I was a kid my Dr's would always comment on how low my heart rate was and how it was a good thing . I'm sure with the family history the Dr's will keep an eye on him.
