Question

How can yo tell that your battery is low enough to get a replacement? I am on my 4th PM and I still don't know this answer. The first 2 it never got that low before they were replaced. Last one I felt funny for a week before I went to get it checked on my normal appointment day. I have had my current one in since July 2005 (It will be 8 years 4 months old on Monday) Since August I have had it checked almost monthly. August it said 1 to 7 months, in September it was at 1 to 5 months, and October it was 1 to 3 months. My appointment is on the 27th of this month (about 11 more days). I woke up yesterday feeling kind of funny but not entirely sure yet. Went to work like usual (I work at night 11pm to 7am). I felt out of breath after doing something that normally doesn't get me out of breath. When I got home my husband took my pulse and it was at 66 and then he told me to do 10 jumping jacks and he would take my pulse again. Again it was at 66....it didn't go up at all. I usually have the phone transmitter to get my PM checked. Of course it is a Saturday and they are not open until Monday. Last time I felt funny, it was nothing. I don't want jump the gun or anything and they tell me it is nothing again. I don't know if it is my nerves about it getting low or what is going on. I have saved up my PTO and I do lose it (52 hours) at the end of the year. Any suggestion would really help me right now.

probably there. I was on the monthly schedule too & OK then felt different a week after my visit so called & got in & I was in ERP. My PM company (Boston Sc) said I had 90 days until End of Life but cautioned not to wait. And a soon as my busy EP got back from his well deserved week vacation, I was scheduled. Just take it slow & call ASAP to your EP's office so can get checked & get in for the switch out.

sounds like you are there

If your rate is not going up, odds are pretty good you are in EOL. When it goes into EOL mode, the extra functions turn off so it paces at a flat rate. You are safe in EOL mode, but it doesn't feel good! Since your rate isn't going up, try to take it easy until you can get scheduled. You might want to call now to see if you can get the ball rolling to be scheduled early next week.

good luck!

Running around

I have got the run arounds already.....my GP called the office also and got the run around too. She got the number for the back up guy and he is suppose to call me by 2pm if not call her back. I just want to get it over with and get back to normal. I have felt like crap since Saturday! When my PM went into ERI mode.
