Now that I read some comments from members, I am decided to join the club. I'm sorry that I am a very skeptical person to begin with because I was already burned when I tried to join a club and afterwards, I received a bill for my enrolment.
This is now clear to me that it is not the same as I had experienced in the past.
I was attracted to join because I have this palpitation right after it was installed and the doctor told me that it is the outcome of my activities which is not much. I am seeing my cardiologist on Oct.1 and see what he tells me. I appreciate your concern and advice.
Thanks to all,
antonia

My pacemaker was installed in 1998 and I have not felt better. The mental part is the toughest.

Glad you checked us out. It pays to look things over carefully on the internet these days.
Their are a number of things that can cause the sensation they call a palpitation. One of the most common is what we call a PVC and gives the feeling of your heart skipping a beat followed by a thump. It is actually very benign other than being disconcerting. Most of the population have PVC's, but don't notice them. After receiving a pacemaker it is easy to become sensitive to feelings in our heart or chest and start noticing them. They can also result from whatever condition lead to your getting the pacer.
To give some perspective I went through a time when I had as many as 2500/day. Not comfortable, but not risky either.
