Second Opinion

Can anyone recommend a center, clinic, university hospital with a doctors name in the NJ/NYC area?

I would like to get a second opinion and ask if other tests are needed to make sure I have a correct diagnosis and we didn't leave something out!

Am about ready to hop on the plane and hit the Mayo Clinic!

ANY thoughts would greatly be appreciated.

THANK YOU
Wenditt

I would suggest you check out the following physician at Englewood Hospial:

Dr. Dmitry Nemirovsky
(201) 894-3533

You can read about him on the following web page:
bestheartdoc.com

I was given his name from not only my internist but also a close family friend when I found out I needed a pacemaker. I was very pleased with him.

I am not sure exactly what your situation is, but I hope you will be able to get the answers you need to obtain the proper treatment for your condition.

Please let me know what happens. The best to you.
Marcia

that this Dr works out for you. Personally I think about the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH. Best Heart Clinic in the US I think. That is where I was headed before things turned around for me.

I can also recommend Newark Beth Israel. I have been going there for over 25 years to the Pacemaker Clinic and Dr. Trevor Atherley (cardiologist), Dr Victor Parsonnet (surgeon - and one of the foremost authorities on pacemakers in the world) and Electrophysiologist Mark Roelke, MD Director of the Pacemaker Clinic at Beth Israel and St. Barnabas in Short Hills.

They are all super and the Newark Beth Israel Pacemaker Center is superb. I highly recommend them.

Good Luck! My best to you where ever you go.

Wenditt, Gosh, the advice given to you from your above PM Club members sounds so good. Let us hear what you decide and how you are doing if you make the move to a different Dr./cardio/EP.

I wish, being from Central Texas, that some really good cardio/EP Dr's. could be suggested in my area, approximately 30+ miles around Austin, Texas.

Yes, supposedly, as presented in a lot of materials I have read and people talking to me, my cardio/EP is the best in the world! He may be, but his patient/Dr. and patient's families/Dr. relationships "stink"! ! He is rude to not only me, but my families when awking questions. He is "short!2C curt and ugly" when talkink to "just" phe patient. He makes, not only me, but my immediate families (son/daughter/etc.) feel inadequate. NO bedside manners. I do pay insurance companies for my good health care, but I also expect some respect from my Dr.

Anyone in my "neck of the woods" in Central Texas/Austin recommend any Dr's. like for Wenditt?

Thanks to All,
Carolyn G. in TEXAS ( :

Thank you everyone
