just wondering first time i go to dentist to extract a tooth, had oral anesthesia was wondering if it was normal that one time during anesthesia i felt heart palpitations for like 2 seconds then i felt at night joint pain on my body and got cold chills that lasted for 5 minutes but i been feeling good now just wondering if this has anything to do with my condition . arrhythmia ,pacemaker cardiomyopathy. metropolol thank you all

you can get palps from the epinephrine in the anesthesia. Yes, there are anesthetics without it. The palps are normal and shouldn't cause a problem. The other symptoms don't sound related to the anesthesia, but could be after effects of the procedure.

My dentist said he was giving me a different painkiller, one which didn't include adrenalin. I felt fine afterwards. No palps.
