PM and lithotripsy

Have had a PM about a year and a half. I have had tendency to get kidney stones. Does anyone know if having a lithotripsy to disolve the stone is possible? Does it affect the PM?

I make more stones in my kidneys than the average gravel pit has. Mine are always large and need lithotripsy to pass them.

I have had three different lithotripsy sessions with a PM and each time the urologist discussed it in advance with my cardiologist.

Everything went smooth each time and I had no side effects that I could detect.

The doctors talking to each other and taking the required precautions seemed to be the key in my case.

Best of luck to you.
