so sad

by pacergirl - 2009-09-28 03:09:41

the biggest problem so far today is that my friend whom is just 38 years old, married with 2 small boys, 10 & 11 and a wife, has throat and lung cancer. No insurance. It appears that it is quite bad and spreading. I feel so sad.... I can't do anything but hold them and lend my emotional support, but it has overwhelmed me. This shocking news. There isn't an easy way to solve this if any way at all.
Sorry, but you asked.

p.s. makes having a pacemaker seems trivial by comparison

Training...

I have been training, but hit & miss and not consistent. In our situation we still need to exercise....or else. Weight problems may come and more health problems if we don't get with it!

That I'm German and don't want to be governed by a black-yellow coalition! Still can't believe what happened yesterday evening... a nightmare that will last four years. Watch out for Guido Westerwelle who'll be our next Minister for Foreign Affairs, and you'll understand what I mean.

I finished 29th in London in 2 hours 20 minutes 30 seconds which is my fastest with or without a device so clearly it didn’t slow me down ! I had no problems apart from some slight chaffing on my scar - more Vaseline next time.
