Muscle car!

Well I looked at it in the garage for a couple of weeks...928 Porsche, wondering what to do about it. It's the kind of car that if you don't feel up to it then stay away from it. You either drive it or it drives you! With the pacer working on my mind, I strapped on my Pulse Watch and climbed down in. I fired it up and backed it out of the garage. Straight up the driveway then checked my pulse. Everything OK. A quick left...no power(European) steering! Muscle it. Shot down the hill then onto the road. Left foot firmly on the footpad...am I ready fot those turns? Got to the main road fine then took a windy road. In and out of the turns, nice throttle on the straightaways. With the big engine and aluminum body the car flies. Geez I forgot all about the pacer. Anyway i'm almost up to speed. Drove to Aurora(Cleveland) last week...straight thru...no side effects to report! I didn't make W.VA. yet but that's coming. I'm feeling pretty good and I hope this helps any of you out there down in the dumps!

I finally got a new car (well, it's ten years old - I'm 21, like I can afford a Porsche!!) last Monday and I've been driving pretty much 24/7 ever since. I've finally got my freedom back after the DVLA and my heart conspired against me last year, so I know exactly how you feel!! :D

What colour is your 928? Please say black! ;)

My beetle convertible had a warning light come on so I had to drive my 944 into work hee hee... the things we have to do.... oh well. 8-)

So happy you are on your way back. Are you going down to Florida in Sept for the social event? I would love to meet you!

I was hoping when I started to read your post that the 928 Porsche was too much for you. I was going to suggest you loan it to me for a while. I could take it on my next 4WD trip up Nightmare Gulch over the rocks and boulders. Instead of trying to claw my way over the pits and holes I could just fly over them.

Always wanted a Porshe. I had a 1956 VW with Judson Supercharger on it that was a goer, but still not a 928.
