Hi All
First game of golf today (12 weeks since PM fitted), managed 10 holes as course was very busy. Felt a bit strange after not touching a club for 14 weeks, but played ok, did cheat a bit & throw ball out, when occasionally it plugged itself in the rough, think some hesitation was more to do with the mind. Only play for pleasure anyway & it was a beautiful hot day. Have swum several times over last 3 weeks, stronger strokes each time & back to gym next week. At last I feel I am getting over op, do think that the older you are (66) the longer it takes. Thanks to everyone for their encouragement & this site for enabling us Brits to have some backup, which the N.H.S. does not seem to provide, certainly not where I am in South West Wales.
