Any help welcome

Hi, just joined after accidently stumbling on club whilst seeking information & have found others experiences very helpful. For me it happened so fast after I returned 7 day monitor for AF (after few weeks of racing heart & breathlessness). Had PM fitted just over a month now & am shocked at how tired I have been & how long it taking to get back to anything like normal. My worry is that I have planned & payed for a trip to New Zealand to see my daughter Christmas 09, stopping over 3 nights in Singapore on the way out & 3 nights in Bali on way back, has anyone travelled a similar route fro Heathrow & encountered any probs? Also any golfers/swimmers, how long before playing/swimming again? Drs said about 3/4 months
Thanks

Swimming

I would detinately leave the swimming for at least 3 months if you mean lengths rather than just splashing about a bit. I had no problens round the pm site until I swam 24 lengths twice within the space of 4 days after 3 months. That was about 8 weeks ago and i started with really sharp stinging pains and soreness after. I still am really sore at the top of the site next to the callarbone, and still sometimes get sharp pains, althiugh not nearly as much. I really regret that I didn't take it more slowly! Good luck with your trip

go to the swimming baths but walk and swim with one arm, doggy paddle the other, its fine.

I was tired and out of breath for about 4 months, depressed and wondering if my life would ever be the same again. Well, yes it is! Working too many hours just like before, walking up hills in the pouring rain, lol, travelling abroad is fine. Go girl go have an amazing trip!!
