In need of new ICD no insurance

Any direction anyone can point me, as in phone numbers or websites.

3 years of use & I now have 9% battery life left.  After being in regular rhythm for a little over a year, I went back into afib yesterday 6/26/12.

Ain’t too proud to beg.

Have you looked into Medicaid?

It will depend on your income & I see by your bio that you are unemployed so may work for you. I'd suggest you call your state insurance division to see if they can offer any advice. Hope this helps.

There are several agencies out there that can help you, or suggest somewhere that can help you.

Try all of your local agencies (county, state, etc.) and also try your local hospitals and other hospitals in your state. Many of them have funds for just this type of situation.

There are a lot of hospitals that absolutely can NOT refuse a patient on the inability to pay. There are also many wealthy people who offer donations to local & state (especially University) hospitals that will pay for those who can't.

Best of luck to you.

In fact after the final "tweaks" of my pacemaker programming at the one year check up it is working so well that I forget I have it.
