Learn from my mistake

Just moaning here... 😛

I had been in the habit of doing dumbbell Good Mornings. Today I had the pleasure of a 45# hexagonal weight crunching right into my PM. I'm well healed, but the scar is curiously still sensitive-- that being aside from a thin strip of my flesh getting rolled between two hunks of metal. That was fun.

It hurts when that happens! Silver lining, the pacer is a lot tougher than we are so the odds of doing any damage are very slim.

Broken lead

When I was volunteering in the hospital where I had gotten my pacemaker, was talking with one of the security guards who had a pacemaker also.  He was bench pressing and finally worked up to 300 pounds.  Broke a lead at 300 pounds.  Said he knew he was pushing it.

I applaud you for doing the exercise. Just be careful about the weights.  Don't want you to break a lead.

Congrats.  Sounds like everything going OK otherwise.  Keep up the good work.

Those cans are tough!

I sat in on a talk from a pacer rep once. He had this great picture of one that had been struck by a bullet, and it kept working!
