A big germ factory no matter how much dissefecting we try to do) well. Friday night my throught stated getting sore. I thought, great another cold. Saturday I work up feeling awfu...

This might sound a bit crazy, but, I know we have some game playing people on here. I bought an X Box 360 and was wondering if anyone here has XBox Live and would like to play some time. I just have a couple of games like; Halo 3 and Virtua Tennis 3. If your interested in playing with me or others, lets get together. Future games I'm buying; Tiger Woods 2008. I hope this doesn't sound too young for some of you. I'm just trying to get closer to all my pacing buddies here at the Club. God b...

I had a medtronic pacemaker installed about 2 years ago for SSS. Within weeks following I felt an increased level of exhaustion. In bringing it up to my doctor he felt it was depression and started me on effexor. That didn't help and the exhaustion continued to the point that I'd become practically dysfunctional in my job...memory loss, lack of concentration, no enthusiasm. I brought myself off the effexor last summer and with continued complaints to the doctor about listlessness, was given a te...

Symphony 2550 problems
!st time here and am impressed with the site. This is my 2nd pm and as with the 1st and having problems. My problems is atril fib from the begining with the 1st pm.The pm kept me at 70 beats so I could take Rythmol. Without the pm my normal was 58. Rythmol drove me down to 42. After two years on the 1st pm they turned off the flywheel and I had no more problems.
With this pm they had the sensors at first at 9. then 7, then 5, then 3 and finally they turned off sensors. Still not right. I mi...

Hi Pacers
My husband and I and the dog, Monni(cocker spaniel) are embarking on a round Australia trip in April, by car. Taking us where we fancy. We desperately need a break from the stress we have encountered over the last few years. Our first stop will be with Rewired Aussie. I was wondering if there are any other Aussies out there who belong to this club. I would love to meet you for a cuppa at your local bakery or such in your town as I pass through. It will give me great co...

Hello Again Everyone,
OK, sorry guys, I have to address this question to the ladies, however, if you gentlemen would like to respond I would like to hear as well.
Question:
Do you have problems sleeping, i.e., laying on your side, either side, back, I think the stomach we all know would be out of the question.
Since getting my PM this past Aug. I find it difficult at times to get comfortable.
Thank you,
Casey Jo

Anyone ever experience this?
Hi guys!
Haven't posted a question in awhile, but have been having some problems in the last week, so "I'm Back!!!".
Some past history- Medtronic Dual Chamber PM implanted 10/1/07. Have been having lots of problem with "feeling the PM pace". This has been documented as I'm wearing an event monitor which revealed "fusion beats" and the addition of PAC's sometimes 3-4 in a row. Seems I feel worse when I'm pacing in the atrium and ventricle, then of course sprinkle in the PAC's an...

Okay,
In my opinion this is getting a bit odd. I have been looking at members profiles. It appears that there are a lot of us born in 1966. Myself included. So if I think we should start a 66 club. It would be cool.
Let me know what you think.

I have had my ICD for about six years now (I had it implanted at 16 and am now 22), and have experienced some anxiety in the past but never as bad as on this past Friday evening. As many of you know, panic attacks are frightfully similar to heart-related episodes (so much so that I cannot tell the difference, and I've definitely had both), and so while it very well may have been my cardiomyopathy acting up, I'm skeptical because I don't believe my heartrate was elevated enough for me to get defi...

Hello all! My name is Michael Schaap and I am new to this group. Actually, I think I posted a few times when I got my unit. Here's the question.... what do you do when your defib unit goes off? I am VERY CONFUSED as to what to do.
Last Wensday I had what I thougth was the flu. Came home with body aches, chills, shacking, sweating like crazy, you know the symtoms. Crawled into bed and fell asleep. Then what happened is I thought my defib unit fired. Heard the big BOOM and wok...
You know you're wired when...
You can hear your heartbeat in your cell phone.
