Does anyone else not feel the flutter/fib?

I don't have a PM yet (I have to call the doctor to schedule the procedure), but have had attrial fib and/or flutter for at least two years. I am a relatively active person and know that my heart sometimes goes crazy while working out because I see it in my heart rate monitor (prior to being diagnosed I attributed the fluctuations in the monitor to "interference"). I have to admit that I do not feel, at all, when my heart rate goes from 70 to 150 and back. I do not feel when my heart rate drops to 30 or when it jumps and skips. Anyone with similar experiences?

You're not the first to say you don't feel it! You may be surprised to find that you have more energy after you get your pm. Things like that can drain us and we don't even realize it until it's fixed.

Quite normal not to feel it, although a lot of patients do feel AF etc. Hope they are going to give you a biventricular pacemaker and an AV node ablation. Mine used to go from 70 to 180 and eventually stay high. Thank goodness Ive got a pacemaker. Im right as rain now. Cheers Peter
