what happened to the Atenolol that you were taking a few weeks ago? Are you still taking that?
I've read back a few posts to get a clearer picture of things, and now I fully understand what you're going through.
Lisa, please, do yourself a favor and try to relax. It doesn't do any good to get anxious about a fast heart-rate, because it will only make it worse. Getting anxious has never brought down a speeding heart, but rather kept it racing.
You are going to be alright. Sit down, and breathe.
I have had 3 ablations myself. I do KNOW what you are going through. PLEASE be patient, and try to relax because it takes a while for your heart to heal from ablations. They have burned or frozen the inside of your heart muscle. It's freaked out a bit, but will simmer down in time. I know they had to have told you about the strong possibilities of arrhythmias for a few months after your ablation. It is VERY common.
I wasn't right, in fact, a bit worse after my 3rd ablation, but after a few months- I was just fine where I remained for about a year.
It has only been a couple of weeks. Please give it time, and try your hardest to relax in the meantime.
I'm 33 now, and had my 3rd ablation when I was about your age. I know what you're going through, I do.
Relax........you're going to be alright.
