Go Red Movement

Hello,
Just a bit more information about the Go Red movement. I encourage everyone to check it out for themselves though. :-)

Here it is.... I copied this from the American Heart Association's website...........
"We're working hard to change the perception that heart disease is a "man's disease." And it's working! By teaching more and more women how to talk to their doctors about heart disease, we can save thousands of lives every year. Because the good news is that heart disease is often preventable!"

Just to help everyone understand why it is that there is a Go Red for women at all. Women were dying in great numbers from heart issues because they were missed or overlooked or ignored. By raising awareness we can help save the lives of the men and women we care about.

Thank you so much for listening.

To my wonderful friends who took the time to post comments, photos and wore their red! Thank you so very much!

Whether it was Sexy T-Shirts, Shit & Boxers or Sweaters, Jackets and Red Undies! Thank you each and everyone :-)
love, Pacergirl

p.s. Yes Jessie I read all the comments! Priceless! I know you were wearing a RED face. ha ha'

you know what susie i did not even have one idea i had posted it and it came out shit. haha so all i could do was laugh. i mean only i could accomplish this. anyway i hope everyone laughed and that is what we need. my own mom needed help and in those days she didn't get a lot. she died at 65 of heart disease. poor soul. she was a really nice person and she was so kind. she never said a bad word about anyone. i am glad that there is more awareness now. take care pacergirl and all my pacer friends. love, jessie
