Movie night

Hello everyone,
I have just returned from seeing a movie that opened tonight. The title was "THE BUCKET LIST" It is a wonderful story about 2 men who become friends. I shall not tell you any more than that. It was a fantastic story and my hubby and I were both teary eyed. It was the first time in a long time that I could sit in a warm dark theatre and not fall asleep from being so tired. It was great and then we stopped for an ice cream cone. It has been truly a very nice day.

I don't have too many of these days and I don't take it for granted that I have days at all. It is amazing that I am still able to see the sun come up in the morning. A real gift it is..... everyday that I wake up.

Just wanted to give thanks to the higher power publicly. Every once in a while I am moved to do such things. I have so many things to be thankful for, I get a little emotional when I stop to consider all of them. I am truly a lucky woman. Thank God I figured it out before it was too late!

Happy weekend to all my pacer/ICD friends, May the sun shine upon you and warm you through and through.
(no I have not had anything to drink!) hee hee

Thanks for the good review, Pacergirl. My husband and I wanted to see that movie but it got a really bad review in our newspaper so we debated and ended up not going. But now we will, thanks to you.
Sometimes we enjoy movies more when they don't get recommended by the critics.

And thanks also for the entire positive post. You've mde my day!

Hi Pacergirl... I saw the promo on TV recently and made a mental note that "that's my kind of movie!" So can't wait to see it especially after your endorsement. Be well, Carol

I agree it was a great movie. It really makes you think. Don't want to say anymore expect you all should go see it.
God bless you,
Amy
