I have taken midodrine and florinef for years for low BP. I take the max 10mg 3 times a day and 0.1mg of Florinef 4 times a day. I have never had migraines. I know when you first start taking midodrine that they say to set your alarm and wake up in the night and take your BP to make sure it is not through the roof. I never had that happen though. Unfortunately my cardiologist told me that because I have been on it for years that eventually it stops working and I believe that it what has happened to me. However they are too scared to take me off it for fear that it is keeping my BP in the 70s and 80s systolic and what if they take me off it? All that to say I haven't had any side effects from it! Sorry to keep rambling...

II have bad circulation am not sure if its me or the meds but I have been on midodrine for about 2 years now and the Dr's have no idea and never gave me much of answer eather then later I learned threw a ER dr telling me if you don't move much then you'll have poor circulation so they never would think anything of it for me since they know I don't do a lot from how much I pass out.

But Weather its the med's or me I have just learned to deal there are some excesses and stretching you can do that will help with the circulation I highly recommend trying out some I have a DVD that does it and I do that as much as I can it seems to help me.

I take Midodrine 10mg 4X daily for low BP. My dose is on the high side from what I understand and really the only two side effects I experience are chills with Piloerection (goose bumps) and impaired urination; both of which I’ve learned to deal with. A good site with information can be found here:

Are you taking Midodrine for low BP?

You know you're wired when...

You can take a lickin’ and keep on tickin’.

The pacer systems are really very reliable. The main problem is the incompetent programming of them. If yours is working well for you, get on with life and enjoy it. You probably are more at risk of problems with a valve job than the pacer.
