I need your input

Hi pacers!
I need your inout. I am working on a product, along with an athletic trainer, that I made for my daughter who is now eight and has been pacing since she was three. It is a protective device/gear for when she plays sports. It is patent pending and we are in the marketing/devolpment phase. I have brought the product to both of her cardiologists(Columbia Pres. in NYC) and they both encouraged this product. I was wondering if you could give me feed back if you would use/need this type of product. You can email me directly at sspinnler@optonline.net. I appreciate your help!
Keep on Pacing!

Sterling,
That was the problem I ran into when my daughter was 3. I have been working on this for almost 3 years and we are just about to market it to the public. If you send me your info, I will keep you updated on our progress. This is a two part system: 1) the actual protective gear and 2) the shirt which you can wash as well as order larger sizes as the kids grow...and they GROW way to fast! Please email me your info at sspinnler@optonline.net
Best Regards,
Sharon

protective gear

Hi Cathryn,
Thanks for your input. Yes! This device will be for all ages. The device is one size that has been fitted for a pacemaker and also defibrillator. This device is then placed into a fitted shirt with a secure pocket. You will be able to remove product so shirt is washable. I am glad to see that you are still active!
Best Regards,
Sharon

Thank you Sharon! I have sent you an email but I want to say here that this would be a wonderful item for kids. I know that some bigger kids wear a protective hockey shirt for sports (baseball, soccer, basketball, etc - the Tour 5279 Upper Body Padded Hockey Shirt and Reebok makes one too) but I think it is bulky and as far as I know, there is no option for toddlers or smaller children. My son is 18 months old and active, I would love to have a way to protect him for enrollment in some athletics in the coming years.

Need Now!

by ICDmom - 2008-01-14 05:01:59

My 8 year old son had ICD implanted May 2007. Doctor apporved him to play this year. We need one now for school and for indoor baseball practice. I emailed you already. Would love to get the product now and be a testimony for you.

You know you're wired when...

You have an excuse for gaining an extra ounce or two.

My ICD/pacer is not a burden. I still play tennis and golf.
