replacement battery

Pacemaker replacement done in February. Since then I have been vocal to the nurse practitioner, cardiologist, surgeon... that something is not right. The pacemaker seems to fall to near my armpit when I sleep on left side. In addition, I feel a thick lead, wire, etc. to the right of the pacemaker and I have constant "sticking pain"I was told by the surgeon that it could be lead, scar tissue,etc. He never gave me an answer nor did he look me in the eyes for a total of 5 min. consultation.
He was not the original surgeon. I had an appt with the first surgeon who implanted the first pacemaker but he canceled due to surgery. This has been an ongoing nightmare.My last interrogation was fine and the pacemaker was working. However, the person who did the interrogation stated that I might need a plastic surgeon. Does any one else face this issue?

According to the Medtronics implant manual they are supposed to suture the pacemaker to the underlying tissue to keep it in place. There are attach points on the pacemaker body for the sutures. It sounds like your doc goofed up the job and has good reason for not looking you in the eye. With most insurances he doesn't get paid for fixing a botched job so he would rather put you off.
Get an appt with the original surgeon and ask what he plans on doing.
