Is a Boston JO63 Advantio DR pacer MRI compatible ? The Boston web pages do not list this pacer model. I have had it about 12 weeks. Thanks in advance for any responses. Boston say on their web pages some are ok for scans.

Hi!
If the model name doesn't say that it's an "Advantio MRI" pacemaker, then you most likely got the model that is not MRI-safe. From the Boston Scientific's website I understand that they have an Advantio model that is MRI-safe, and one that isn't. The MRI-safe has been approved in summer 2012 in Europe, the other Advantio seems to have been on the market for longer. I think there is no FDA approval for the MRI-safe Advantio, yet, it has only been approved in Europe.
Does your pacemaker card say which pacing leads you have? The MRI-safe pacing leads are the "Fineline II" pacing leads.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes
