AFIB
I am writing this in the hope that it may help those suffering from AFIB.
I'm 72 and and suffer from AFIB and hypertension. I had a pacemaker implanted some years ago but my AFIB condition never improved until some 6 months ago. Then, following a google search on magnesium, I decided to add magnesium to my diet. The result was simply stunning.
My AFIB has stopped and I even had to reduce my intake of medication for hypertension. What surprised me most was that I was not even taking the recommended dosage of magnesium. Instead of taking 2 pills a day, I was only taking one pill every other day.
The magnesium I'm taking can be obtained in pill form from any health shop. Best wishes
Joseph

Mineral supplements for AF
by Roys - 2014-07-02 09:07:26
Hi Joseph
Yes the heart needs mineral supplements if you are getting AF. I tried 500mg of Magnesium to start with and I was free of AF for 62 days, then the AF came back, so I included Potassium and Calcium, so now I am free of AF, as long as I watch my diet. I don't take blood thinners, but have a supply of Clexane injections which I would give myself if I get an episode of AF. Doctors don't tell you about mineral supplements. A quote from a-fib .com by Steve Ryan "anyone in A-Fib is almost certainly Magnesium deficient"
Cheers Roy
