Triathlon Two Days Away

Well, I am officially at the 5 month mark since I received my PM. With that, I know that I am fortunate to still be able to do the thing that I love which is being involved in triathlons. In two days I will line up for the first time since the implant, and to be honest I am a little nervous. Theoretically there should be no complications, but you all know that what the doctors say and what goes through our minds are two totally different things.
Anyway, remember me on Saturday. Here's to being battery operated, and here's to living life to the fullest and still being able to do the things that we love!

I did my return tri 9 months after implant and was a little nervous too.Everything went fine.My only problem was that i wanted to be at the same level I was before PM and overtrained a little and got the FLU and missed the last 2 races of our season.
A goal of a comfortable finish might be good for the first race back. Its just good to get back out there!!

P.s now gradually builing up to my first marathon and maybe even an Ironman tri.

But its not about me!...

I'm glad for you and enjoy your race.
Please let us know how you went.

Is it sprint distance?
