need to know

since having this thing I have to start a new career, I was a truck
driver for many years, and in the state of Ohio I don't know about any other state but, I can't get a medical card . A truck driver can't drive without one. So I've have to start all over again with a new career, Don't know where to start . Thought about being a cable
tech. But that involved being around wires, and electrical boxes, stuff, so let me know?

That thing you have is an icd. With that rascal you will never pass a dot physcial. That is what happened to me. If you look in the federal motor carrier act you will see that pacemaker is ok, a difibrillator is not. As for being a commical driver is concerned you are SOL. Good luck on finding something to do. I was lucky and was able to retire.

With exploding energy costs there are a host of opportunities in the field of energy efficient buildings. Many of the jobs would likely require some additional training (no idea of your skills and education) - you might be able to get some of the training on-the-job. Check your local electrical utility, do searches on things like energy auditing, insulation retrofitting, duct testing, solar roofs ...

Cable will be low voltage, so I would think it would be OK, of course if you are an installer, you will have to climb ladders to get to the connection boxes. Anyway good luck on what ever you choose.

You know you're wired when...

A thirty-day guarantee is not good enough.

It's much better to live with a pacemaker than to risk your life without one.
