I suggest he ask his doctor but the norm seems to be wait 6 weeks before resuming normal activities. He may have to be very careful on that atv for an even longer period as that requires some stretching to reach the bars and control it.

Yes

I don't have an ATV, but I have one off road motorcycle and one on road cruiser, and I ride both with no problems, so would have to say yes, he can ride. Rick

Depends on how he rides

At three weeks I wouldn't recommend riding at speed cross country. A wipeout could do some damage. If he is just riding the ATV around a ranch or farm there shouldn't be any problem.

I would say go for it, but always check with the doc first. Ok....that's the right thing to do. Every doc as their own opinion too. My doc gave me little restrictions, in regards to recreation. Just don't play football, he said. Other than that....I've done plenty. Nothing has gotten in my way, with regards to recreation. I live my life normal. I would recommend waiting at least 6 weeks though. He should make sure everything has healed properly. Tell your friend Good Luck!!!

Cheers:)

I joust to ride my ATV is a professional way here in Cabo, my doctor said it was no problem if i do cause the kind of vibration cause by the ATV was not a problem, but the day i felt off the thing , the problem was the blood thinner, i almost die, cause of internal bleeding my lung cavity got full of blood and i lost 3 liters of blood, yeahp it took me almost 6 months to fully recover, so i will suggest if you whant to live longer stay away from the ATV those things will kill you one way or the other. I am 38 and i still ride my ATV but not in a professional way anymore.

You know you're wired when...

You prefer rechargeable batteries.

Just because you have a device doesn't mean you are damaged goods and can't do anything worthwhile and have to lie down and die. In fact, you're better and stronger. You're bionic!
