New Machine!

Hi All,
Haven't been on for a while but I read comments every day.
My quesiton is I just received my ICD interrogation machine.
I was wondering from members who have one what it's like. Do you feel it, mine has a speaker they can talk to me on, and any comments you may have. Just weird to have this device next to your bed reading your heart! Guess I better be a good girl!

You will find it very cool. The doctors office calls me and reminds me when it is time to send a transmission. You just follow the directions and if something needs adjusting, she can do it at night while you are asleep. I had to use mine on the 4th of July when I went into Vtach and basically died. I was at the movies and passed out. it took two shocks to bring me back up. I sat calmly for the rest of the movie, since my legs were like jello, then instead of the ER, I went home, called the doctor on call and sent a transmission. It saved me a trip to the ER. I just went to the office the following Monday. You will find you forget all about it,,,till you need it.
take care

I still think it should come with a built in CD player!!
LOL!

Can't wait to hear how you like it once it's hooked up!

My son helped me sit up the machine and we went through the first home interrogation. I was surprised at how fast it was! The screen then said my next interrogation is scheduled for 11/10; very cool. I'll keep you posted.

I'm working on getting the optional video and CD equipment!

Screens and they can talk to you. Mine must be a economy model it just has a couple of lights on it and the mouse device activator. And I just got mine a couple of months ago. I guess insurance company has already put out to much money for me lol.
