twitch fixed for now

i had my icd implanted feb. 18. i returned to heart lab march 18 because 1 of 3 leads in heart had moved. the ep doc opened up the incision, removed one lead and replaced it with a lead from a different company. (i have a st. jude unit and now have a boston scientific lead).
i went back for a 2-week checkup and told the ep doc that i was experiencing a "twitch" on the left side of my stomach. he said i had a diaphram fibulation? the tech people worked on the settings for more than an hour. at least for now, i no longer have the "twitch."
has anyone had similar issues and have they been resolved for good?

Twitching

Hello Ted,

Been there and done that and got it fixed. It took 3 or 4 trips to finally get the settings right, but I haven't felt the diaphragm twitching in 5 or 6 years, One little side note, along with the twitching I had some stinging and hiccups. The hiccups were doozies and I still have some of those once in a while. These were more of a problem than the twitching. But the thing is it can be fixed although it may take another adjustment or two if it reoccurs.

twitching

I was relieved to read your comment because I do feel the twitching especially if I lie on my back and I have had various answers as to why- the latest being from my physical therapist saying that it is my parasympathetic nervous system response. (I have been going to P.T. for left shoulder neck and arm pain since the pacemaker insertion (Nov 07) Before I started P.T. I did ask my cardiologist and pacemaker tech. I was then "adjusted" and that evening was running a pulse rate of 138 while lying down! I went back but had to wait until the tech was back in and was readjusted to a "normal" and since then I have been afaid to mention the twitch again. So now I am not sure where to turn. Any input would be appreciated.

My ICD/pacer is not a burden. I still play tennis and golf.
