i was re-wired march 18. for the past couple of days, i have noticed a twitch just below my ribcage on the left side. could this be associated with new lead? i go back to ep lab april 3. i'm hoping the "redo" works, but now i'm wondering about this twitch. it doesn't hurt, but it's bothersome. any ideas about the cause?

I also experienced that "twitch" . The current was adjusted(I still don't know the proper terminology to be more specific) and the "twitch" was gone. We then went on vacation and I ended up having symptoms that sent me to the E.R. in France. After a scarry overnight in the hospital for "observation" the current on my PM was turned up and the Cardiologist there said that the problem was 2 fold. One the current had been too low and ,two my ventricular lead was not in the proper position. I am back home now and had the lead replaced one week ago. No "twitch" but I now have an occational "butterfly-like feeling" that I assume is the new lead. So I am going to see the cardiologist today to hopefully get readjusted.
You know you're wired when...

Today I explained everything to my doctor, he set my lower rate back to 80 and I felt an immediate improvement.

Hi
I have the same twitches too! Theyre more noticeable when I'm lying down & the feeling makes me take a deep breath but its not painful - kind of like one of those slendertone twitches! I was told (and I'm not saying that its true they couldve been lying!) that its the wire that goes into the bottom of your heart touching the diaphragm or a nerve/muscle making it jump! If you don't have a wire in the bottom then I have no clue!
