Hello,
Always problems to make an appointment for my pm. I received my second pm. at nov, because 1 of the leads was broken. My recovery was very good, but still not enough breath.
Problems by biking, swimming, and the stairs.I would make an appointment by my pm.controller.Had again problems with the assistent of the cardiologist.Told her that I could visit for the pm
when I had problems after one or two days.I was angry but my doctor had to made an appointment. After two weeks I could visited him, because my Medtronic is specially, they say.He asked me why the assistent had not made an appointment for on a wednesday, because than there was also the heart-ritm cardiologist.I had no idea.No one is telling something. They changed my pm and now I feel very fine.Do you have also problems with appointments?I am not complaining a lot.Do you see your cardiologist every year ?. When I stayed a week at hospital after falling the stairs,I did not met him.Only when I had to come back for the first time after the surchery. He was very kind and told me that he read my dossier. My doctor from my work wrote him a letter before my accident, because I did'nt feel well, but he had no responce. Can I ask for another cardiologist you think ?. Or shall I write him a letter about his kind assistent ?.
Thanks,
Wietske

SEE EP!

If there is one available, I would see an EP. They are more specialized in the heart's electrical system. (Terry...I agree). I see my EP once a year now and telephone checks every month (batteries getting low). If they try to set me up with his PA, I decline, and they make me appt. with the actual EP Doc. I would try to look into to someone else. Where I go...they always put me first. Good luck!
Cheers:)

Ask to see an electrophysioiogist and ask for the lead to pace the heart's natural conduction system, to pervent long-term heart problems. He/she will know what youi mean. If you want to see the emenging scientific literature on this, send me a private message, or look up the His and Purkinje system.
