AT or AFL

Hey guys: Just needed to get it off my chest, no pun intended. I have been in and out of AT or AFL again since December, ( as of Jan 12 I had had 388 episodes). Anyway, I talked to the doc last thursday and we agreed on trying tykosin again even though I had torsades previously. As I told the doc it is a risk I am willing to take if it stops or supresses some of the episodes. As of yet though I have not heard back from his nurse and on a scale of 1-10 I am pretty much feeling like an * in the hole, and haven't slept more than 2-3 hours in the past 3 nights, Thanks for listening

I know your frustration. Good luck with the Tikosyn, and your hospital stay that will go along with that.
I hated being in the hospital for the Tioksyn, but understand the risks of the medicine. At least if something does go wrong- you're in the right place.
Tikosyn worked too well the first dose, as they almost OD'd me. After giving me the lowest dose possible, it worked for 2 days and then I ended up with a pacemaker before I left the hospital.
I really wish you well.
I know how awful you must be feeling.

Best of luck, you'll be in my thoughts.

You know you're wired when...

You can feel your fingers and toes again.

A properly implanted and adjusted pacemaker will not even be noticeable after you get over the surgery.
